Jul 12 - Director of Institutional Advancement
The Salina Art Center seeks an energetic and experienced director of institutional advancement to lead the Art Center’s development program. This position reports to and works closely with the executive director to develop strategies to insure the Art Center’s future success and sustainability. The director of institutional advancement is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the Art Center’s annual development plan. This includes major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, donor development, grants, membership, fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, and endowment initiatives. This position manages the marketing and membership coordinator and collaborates with other administrative staff to accomplish these responsibilities. The Donor Relations Specialist position is responsible for coordinating and implementing donor stewardship tactics to enhance and sustain positive donor relations. Accountabilities include, and are not limited to, creating and sending regular donor correspondence, administering and managing database of donor communications, assisting with special event planning, processing donor mailings, scheduling meetings and updating project timelines and information.
